From a farming family in the Moama region, Ben’s early career led him into corporate finance to an executive level holding leadership roles both nationally and internationally.
Ben now specialises in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, as well as agribusiness development.

Grant has experience in many Ag organisations across Australia both in the corporate and independent arena.
He has gained extensive experience in leading structural change, contract management, business development and improving business efficiency. Building strong teams that focus on long-term relationships in complex and dynamic business environments is a key focus.

Dr Peter McEntee is our General Manager of Operations and Delivery Technology and oversees NEM’s supply chain operations including production planning, product formulation, fermentation, manufacturing, procurement and internal research and development activities.
Peter has spent over two-decades working on the commercial production of legume inoculants and other plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria and endophytic bacteria. Peter and his dedicated team are passionate about bringing evidence-based biological products to market.
Peter has qualifications in Agronomy, Precision Agriculture and Economics. His hands-on agricultural expertise spans the Australian continent, having worked in the vast cattle operations of northern Australia, to the intensive agricultural industries in southern Australia.

From a farming family near Temora, Simon has a background in soil science and the grains industry, and is a member of the Soil CRC Board.
Simon leads our research and development team, and our research programs and partnerships. He develops and manages research investments focused on applied aspects of beneficial bacteria as microbial inoculants to promote plant growth and provide biological disease control.
Simon has spent two-decades working in Research, Development and Extension across Australia. Simon and his team are passionate about bringing evidence-based biological products to market.

Longtime industry stalwart and innovator, Sandy has been involved in the Australian microbiological industry since the mid-seventies.
Sandy’s experience is sought by agriculturalists and scientists from across the globe when trying to overcome difficult biological and manufacturing problems.
Originally setting up NEM as an enviro-remediation company in 1998, Sandy soon realised the need for an Australian manufacturer of legume inoculants. Building the plant from the ground up, Sandy laid a solid foundation for what has grown to become the largest manufacturer of its type in the country.

Founder of NEM. His background is in Biological Science. Built NEM over 20 years and is also currently consulting to current management on production formulation and scientific matters.

Former Restorative Dentist. 40 years in agriculture as Chair of family company focused on Agri sector. Chair of Research Advisory Committee for goFARM Australia.

Farming background, Executive experience in the Finance sector. Leads a small group to buy in to NEM in 2018.
